Lead Ad Terms

Meta provides features that enable you to run an advertising unit allowing a Meta user to provide their email address or other user information to you (“Lead Ads”). By using Lead Ads, you agree to the following terms:

1. Compliance with Meta’s Policies
   You are responsible for ensuring that each Lead Ad complies with Meta’s Terms of Service (Meta Terms of Service), including Meta’s Advertising Policies (Meta Advertising Policies), Meta’s Platform Policy (Meta Platform Policy), and Meta’s Commercial Terms (Meta Commercial Terms), as well as all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. If you are using Lead Ads on behalf of a third party, you must have the authority to bind that party to these terms.
2. User Disclosures
   Each Lead Ad must include:
   • Disclosures necessary to comply with applicable laws, including any Offer Terms (e.g., criteria to qualify, expiration date, or limitations on redemption).
   • A clear and prominent statement that user data collected through the Lead Ad will be governed by your privacy policy.
   • A link to your privacy policy.
   • No Lead Ads should be targeted at minors.
3. Use of Lead Ad Data
   “Lead Ad Data” refers to information provided by Meta users through Lead Ads, including email addresses and other user details. You may use Lead Ad Data only as permitted by these terms, Meta’s policies, your privacy policy, and applicable laws. You may not combine Lead Ad Data with other data from different advertisers.
4. Sale or Transfer of Lead Ad Data
   Lead Ad Data may only be sold or transferred if the recipient uses it solely for the purpose for which it was collected and as described in the notice provided to users. You must ensure that any third party receiving Lead Ad Data complies with these terms and applicable laws.
5. Data Protection
   You must implement appropriate measures to protect Lead Ad Data against unauthorized processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage. Lead Ad Data must be handled according to Meta’s Platform Policy.
6. Modification and Termination of Lead Ads
   Meta may change, suspend, or terminate the Lead Ads feature at any time. You may also discontinue your use of Lead Ads at any time.

These Lead Ad Terms are part of the overall Terms of Service for AOTDEV. They do not replace other terms related to advertising purchases from Meta, which remain applicable. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Meta’s terms, these Lead Ad Terms will apply only to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict. Meta reserves the right to audit compliance with these terms and update them as needed.
